I let Pancakes run around my room today. He was quite happy to be let out of his cage for the day; after a while he got tired and cosied up against the wall. Probably enjoying the cold tiles. Maybe he likes aircon too.

This afternoon I met Viki at Raffles City; I satisfied my craving for Komala's! I had a South Indian meal. Basically a mound of soft rice with a variety of vegetable dishes and gravies. The "dessert" was a little much for me, it tasted like concentrated cardamom milk. I took a spoonful and that was it. Viki said something like "be careful when you try something here, it's not what it looks like." Touche. I ate what looked like sambal and it....wasn't. Yikes.
Passed by KOS Cafe, they have tasty honey brown chicken.

Had lots of fun roaming around Raffles City with Viki and chatting with her. We found a cheesy wedding gift from Robinsons! Sat down at Gloria Jean's for a while sipping a strawberries n cream chiller. It's frothy, I like. Met up with her friends for dinner at Burger King. I had the Spicy Tendercrisp. It's like BK's version of Zinger (KFC) & McSpicy (MacD's). I think this is my favourite cuz it's the only one with tomatoes.

Fell asleep on the bus home. Now I just have to wrap the gift. All set for tomorrow! Reminds me, I have to collect the camera from my granny's place. =)

I went for a haircut today. Anything to shed 100g.

Found these Klondike Slim-a-bear 100 Calorie Ice Cream Fudge Bars. So tempting. Came in a box of 6, too. Then I remembered, 100 calories is 20 minutes walk on the treadmill. Yikes, I put it back.

This mindset carried forward to lunch, when I simmered some chicken broth and blanched fresh udon, cracking an egg into the mixture and stirring vigorously to get the look of those thick gravies you get in crispy egg noodles. Mine wasn't nearly as pretty but it was tasty enough. Now I'm wondering what's for dinner.

Tomorrow Viki and I are going shopping for Ms Fizah's wedding gift. I saw this gorgeous Cherry Blossom aromatherapy candle & diffuser set today; so cool, the candles were in the shape of those josssticks kinda thing. Then I thought Body Shop might be a little unimaginative. We'll figure it out tomorrow.

Dang the empty stomach feeling is not good.

I'd actually owned this book before; it's so friggin interesting. Basically it's about Andrew Cunanan and his failed relationship with Gianni Versace (he was a boy toy) which led to him killing Versace, lalala. The book also lovingly describes the gay scene whenever the scene of the chapter moves to a different state. Lol

Unfortunately I didn't manage to finish reading it since it got wet one day when I was running home in the rain (and the book was in my bag) and I was so disappointed I didn't bother drying it out or anything, I just threw it away. Haha I seem funny.

I just watched this new TV series, Harper's Island.



WHOA lemme tell you, a show like this is rare and just what I've been waiting for! It's a fairly morbid show about people celebrating a couple's marriage on an island which has a history of murders, and surprise, surprise, it's happening again. Anyway, what I love about it is the filming; or maybe the lush backgrounds have something to do with it. It's full of suspense. Also, there is a semblance of a plot unlike other dumb killing-spree flicks.

Henry is poached from Ugly Betty to play....Henry, again. Funny! I wonder if he's okay with playing a "Henry" character in two shows. Hehe.

It's London Vibe from the City Collection. Not bad!



It's slightly musky with that sweet tone. Okay I'm not cut out to be a fragrance tester but I love this one. Try it out! The other two are Paris and New York versions. Funny, cuz this London Vibe reminds me of Target in Perth. (No, I'm not geographically challenged and Bukit Mertajam is in Pulau Penang.)

Nighty night. I have to go think about my outfit for Saturday; I'll be attending Ms Fizah's wedding (form teacher in Sec 3). People are going to wear baju kurung but she wants me and Afiq to show up in black tie?! Hmmm I'll have to ask Viki as well.
